Empower Future Initiative Launches “Masters of Business in the Street (MBS)” Training in Partnership with Interweave International Solutions
The Empower Future Initiative (EFI), in partnership with Interweave International Solutions, today launched the inaugural session of the Masters of Business in the Street (MBS) training program, a transformative initiative designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with practical business knowledge and hands-on skills needed to build sustainable livelihoods.
The session commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Ikechukwu Henry, Executive Director of Empower Future Initiative, who expressed appreciation to participants for their enthusiasm and commitment. Mr. Henry reaffirmed EFI’s dedication to empowering youth, women, and underserved communities through skill development, capacity building, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihood programs.
Representing Interweave International Solutions were Mrs. Liouse Gyunga, Nasarawa State Director, and Mr. Obodo Silver, National Coordinator. Mrs. Gyunga gave an insightful overview of Interweave’s mission and its continued collaboration with local partners to promote small business growth and community development.
In his presentation, Mr. Obodo Silver delivered a comprehensive introduction to the MBS program, explaining its structure, goals, and expected outcomes. He encouraged participants to take the training seriously, emphasizing that the program will provide valuable insights to help them establish and grow resilient businesses capable of transforming their communities.
The inaugural session concluded with an interactive engagement, during which participants expressed excitement and commitment to applying the knowledge gained throughout the training.
